That is what customers are truly looking for when they make their decisions.a product that will work for a very long time trouble free. I would like to see it move in the other direction and remove the side and/or end pressure for many years of trouble free service from the container and the lock. If you have to have side pressure on the lock bolt a much better choice is the Zo2 ,or the like, with a mechanical bolt retraction, yet all of the benefits of an electronic lock and not that much harder to install than the others that are commonly used. I see so many fail in 3-5 years and sometimes less as a direct result of this. Neither of these locks are designed to have side or end pressure on them. Wiggle the paperclip around until you feel the lock disengage. Use a Paperclip: Straighten out a sturdy paperclip and insert it into the lock while applying slight pressure. The old LaGard 3000 or Basic as it called now with KABA-MAS ownership is and excellent lock for gun safes as well as the S&G 6120. Contact the Manufacturer: Reach out to the gun safe manufacturer to inquire about alternative methods to open the safe without a key or code. When you take two slick surfaces (dial ring & safe face) and the dial ring screws, or one of them, are loose for what ever reason and the ring gets bumped.LOCK OUT. Dial locks have about 1/2 number tolerance in either direction. I have more factory training with S&G is why I tend to recommend them more. I believe you are correct about the import lock on their safes.
